| Aunt Honey was my hero. She could do anything a man could do and better despite her crippling arthritis and back injuries sustained from lifting people with her tiny frame. She never married, but used her nursing skills in the service of her county in the U. S. Army Nurses Corps during WWII in the European Theatre and cared for each of her brothers and sisters at home until they died. |
