Gildea Tombstones

The Gildea plot is located in the Catholic Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia at 1720 Wheaton Street, Magnolia Division, Lot 208. The entrance is at a stop light. Bear to the right as you enter as there are two cemeteries at the light. Go to the first intersection and turn right and look for the row shown below. Gildea plot is on the left (notice the red flowers in the distance that appear to be in front of the cross shaped marker). That is the Gildea monument to their left. Travers-Ivey plot is on the right marked with red flowers for the photo.

Neil died on Saturday, May 5, 1934 and was buried on Monday, May 7, 1934.

   
Mary was born in Duval County, Florida

Cemetery Records indicate an Infant Gildea was buried in the plot October 1929.
