John Pahno Tabakian
      John Pahno Tabakian, 68, died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital about 6:05 o'clock following a short illness. He was a native of Armenia, coming to Savannah in 1910. He was a merchant here for many years.
      Mr. Tabakian is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Abraham Tabakian and one son, George D. Tabakian both of Savannah, and several cousins in Troy, N.Y., and Detroit, Mich.
      Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Albert Goette Funeral Home.

       Funeral services will be held this morning for John Pahno Tabakian, 68, merchant here for many years and who died Monday evening after a short illness. Mr. Tabakian, a native of Armenia, came to Savannah in 1910.
      Services will be conducted at 9 o'clock from Albert Goette Funeral Home and at 9:30 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
      Pallbearers will be Domonick Valenti, John Ganem, Harold Beecher, Robert Jenkins, Anthony Gannam and Michael Gannam.

George D. Tabakian
      George D. Tabakian, 62, of 12447 Largo Drive, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.
      He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and was employed by Hussey, Gay and Bell as a civil engineer.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Phyllis Tabakian of Savannah, two daughters, Mrs. Cindy Strozier of Augusta and Mrs. Kathy Hall of Atlanta; four sons, John Michael, Michael Joseph, Charles Phillip, and George D. Tabakian, Jr. all of Savannah; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
