Detainee List shows that Hanny Abraham, her brother Gannim, sister Zihra, and
cousin Adel, along with Hanna (John) Yousef (Joseph) Ganem and his sister Nimry
were detained due to "LPC - Likely Public Charge." The Immigration Inspector,
if he felt that the arriving passenger had either a mental or physical condition
which would likely prevent the immigrant from finding employment in the U.S. would
list the detained passenger as such. Hanny, her brother, sister and Adel were

His wife Narina at Elman near Saida. Final Destination: NH, Manchester. Does not
have ticket to final destination. Paid passage himself. He has been here before
from 1902/1904 in Manchester NH. He is meeting his brother Karam Ghanem.

are all ships owned by the FRENCH LINE which picked up passengers from Beruit
and either departed Cherbourg or Le Harve, France. George Saraf sailed on the
